You may be affected by a class action settlement regarding Clients on Demand’s eight-week program in the case Kendrick Davis v. Clients on Demand, LLC, Case No. 2:23-cv-10541-MWC-SSC, in the Central District of California.
If you live in the United States and bought Clients on Demand’s eight-week program on or after December 16, 2019, you may be a member of the class and entitled to money.
On December 15, 2023, a class action lawsuit was filed by Kendrick Davis against Clients on Demand, LLC, and Russell Ruffino. The lawsuit was brought by Kendrick Davis on behalf of U.S. purchasers of Clients on Demand’s eight-week program. The lawsuit claims that Clients on Demand and Russell Ruffino misleadingly marketed Clients on Demand’s eight-week program and that Clients on Demand did not comply with California’s Seller Assisted Marketing Plan Act. Defendants Clients on Demand, LLC, and Russell Ruffino deny that they did anything wrong, and the settlement does not constitute an admission of any wrongdoing by Defendants.
The Court will hold a hearing on December 4, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. The hearing will take place at the Felicitas and Gonzalo Mendez United States Courthouse, Courtroom 6A, 6th Floor, 350 W 1st Street, Suite 4311 Los Angeles, CA 90012. At that hearing, the Court will consider whether to approve the Settlement and whether to approve requested attorneys’ fees plus reimbursement of costs and requested Class representative service awards. You may appear at the hearing, but you don’t have to. The Court has appointed attorneys from the law firm Kneupper & Covey PC to represent the Class (“Class Counsel”). You will not be charged for these lawyers. If you want your own lawyer, you may hire one at your expense.
You may submit a claim online using your Unique ID, if you received one via email. You must submit a claim form to get a monetary payment from the settlement. Claim forms can be submitted online or by mail at Clients on Demand Lawsuit, c/o Stretto, 410 Exchange, Suite 100, Irvine, CA 92602. The deadline to submit a Claim Form is January 3, 2027. If you don’t want any benefits from or to be legally bound by the Settlement, you must submit an Exclusion Request by mail or online here by November 20, 2026. You may exclude yourself from the Class by sending a written Request for Exclusion to Clients on Demand Lawsuit, EXCLUSIONS, c/o Stretto, 410 Exchange, Suite 100, Irvine, CA 92602 that is received no later than November 20, 2026. The Request for Exclusion must be personally signed by you and contain a statement confirming your desire to be excluded from the Class. Information about how to request to be excluded is available in the Long Form Notice. If you exclude yourself, then you cannot receive any benefits from the class action settlement, but you do not release any potential legal claims you may have against Clients on Demand or Russell Ruffino relating to the allegations of the class action, which concern Defendants’ marketing of Clients on Demand’s eight-week program and Clients on Demand’s compliance with California’s Seller Assisted Marketing Plan Act.
You may also write to the Court if you wish to object to the Settlement by November 20, 2026. Details about what you must include in your written objection are available in the Long Form Notice.
If you take no action, you will still be bound by the settlement, and your rights will be affected.
